“Initiative for Increased Public Participation in Local Governance of Ozurgeti Municipality” project final presentation was hosted by Guria Youth Resource Center at Ozurgeti Center for Civic Engagement.
The organization representatives, Tamar Ghlonti and Otar Revishvili talked about the project achievements and its significant result – innovative mechanism/platform for citizen engagement developed by Guria Youth Resource Center in partnership with Ozurgeti Municipality Government. Ozurgeti municipality allocated 150 000 GEL to spent through public participation in Ozurgeti City by using the innovative platform.
The project “Initiative for Increased Public Participation in Local Governance of Ozurgeti Municipality” was implemented by Guria Youth Resource Center through the financial support of NDI. The main goal of the project is to increase public participation in local decision making process.
